Bilkent University Faculty of Music and Performing Arts had the great pleasure of hosting ensemble Oerknal between 20-23 November. During their residency, the musicians diligently worked with Bilkent’s composers Emre Eröz, Deniz Aslan and Artun Çekem on their new pieces. The four-day visit was concluded with a concert where the ensemble performed a selection of three pieces from the contemporary music repertoire, as well as the premieres of our students’ works. We wholeheartedly congratulate our students for the successful premiere of their pieces, and offer our deepest gratitude to Oerknal!
