Philippe Brunet was with us together with composer and UC Berkeley professor Ken Ueno for a very exciting 3-day residency! During his stay, Philippe Brunet did workshops both with Bilkent Composition and trumpet students. At the end Philippe Brunet and Ken Ueno gave a concert together, where Brunet played Ueno’s trumpet concerto “Fanfares for the Apocalypse” as well as pieces from his own repertoire. Finally, they closed together with an amazing duo improvisation!
